such as in Investment, Finance, and Security combined with PTEC’s

November 2004

Talks held with senior executives of Allixon Co. Ltd. of
Korea for cooperation and possible joint development.

RavenPack International S.L. (Spain), Allixon Co. Ltd (Korea) and
Secugraphics (Canada) began negotiations to develop and market a
new Biometric-RFID access control system during 2005. The goal of
this potential joint venture is to develop a new biometric ID card that
integrates several biometric features, with high-end encryption and
RFID communication. Presently, no companies have managed to
integrate these technologies in a functional environment. The new
venture has the potential of succeeding in this challenging field.

Allixon Co. Ltd is a leading manufacturer of middleware solutions
for RFID and mobile platforms in Asia. Secugraphics Inc. is an
innovator in biometric document security and encryption
technologies. RavenPack delivers intelligence and analytical

RavenPack Awarded Spanish Government Grants

RavenPack International S.L. of Marbella, Spain was granted
funding from the Government of Spain (Andalusia) to develop
two major projects in the areas of healthcare and biometric security.
One of the projects, the AlphaMedic System is a technology platform
linking clinical practitioners, patients, hospitals, and researchers into
a shared knowledge network. The system permits controlled
exchange of information between all parties. Medical practitioners
can share and compare information about symptoms, diagnoses,
treatment efficacy and outcome predictors. The system also includes
Artificial Intelligence-based decision tools that let physicians and
patients use the latest medical knowledge to guide diagnosis and
treatment selection.

The second R&D project involves the establishment of a private
facility equipped to design “counterfeit-proof” ID documents, using
advanced biometric technology. Biometrics are the measurable,
physical characteristics or personal behavioral traits used to
recognize the identity, or verify the claimed identity, of an individual.
RavenPack and partners are currently developing Biometric ID
products that are suited for certified corporate and government
clients. New products will include identification cards, driver licenses,
passports, visas, currency, private and public sector financial bonds,
bank notes, and other personalized security documents.

October 2004 RavenPack International signs partnership with the Carlos Haya Foundation – IMABIS of Spain RavenPack signs partnership with the Carlos Haya Foundation, also known as the Mediterranean Institute for the Advance
of Biomedicine and Medical Research (IMABIS - Spain). The goal of this partnership is to integrate new analytical tools and techniques in biomedicine. By engaging in joint projects,

investigation, information dissemination, and advances in medical knowledge in the areas of diagnostics, treatments, and pathologies.
